Wonderful guy with attention to detail; he took apart a 15+ years Kohler and Campbell piano, repaired the sticky keys and the muted keys, replaced the hammers, rewired the broken strings, cleaned the inside and tuned it (without any judgment over how the piano got so bad!). 10/10 would recommend, I've played the piano every day since, and I would go to him for yearly tuning from now on.

There was a wide variety of pianos and brands to choose from, to which Nick was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to choosing one. In the end I chose the Schimmel W180 as I really like the piano's rich and clear tone, as well as its appearance. Also, the tuning service is great.

After spending months being transported in a container over sea and land to Brunei, my 50-year old Yamaha G2 piano must be ecstatic when it got acquainted with Nick. Not only did he set the piano up, he meticulously overhauled it that it now produces pleasantly warm sounds with very smooth keyboard action - better than I ever experienced from the same piano! A generational upgrade, one might say.
Hammer replacement, keyboard regulation, re-weighting and all sorts of other repairs were done in a manner that is a testament to his skills and patience. Most of all, Nick's passion to 'get the job done right' to a certain degree of perfectionism really makes a difference between him and any other piano tuner or serviceman.
