Sauter

The sound of a Sauter piano is lush and sophisticated. It seems to speak with an aristocratic voice. Founded by Carl Sauter in 1819, Sauter is a family owned company now in the hands of the sixth generation descendant, Mr Ulrich Sauter. The Sauter factory is located in the heart of the Black Forest in south-west Germany. Its pianos are hand-made in the grand tradition of German piano-making. Sauter has established itself as one of the world's finest pianos alongside Steingraeber, Fazioli and August Foerster.
